Raja Elona, married to Abdul Halim Ashari and is a proud mother of 3 boys. She graduated with a BSc in Strategic Management from California State University, Sacramento and has lived in Jakarta almost 23 years. She has served in the MCJ committee for 12 years and was the Chairperson of the prestigious MCJ Annual Dinner and Dance from 2004 to 2015. Elona was also PERWAKILAN’s liaison representative for 6 years. Currently she is a Lead Coordinator for YAYASAN MUDA GIAT PEDULI INDONESIA (YMGPI), a foundation set up of aiding the youth of Indonesia to carry out initiatives of aiding underprivileged women and children. She is also the founder and patron of “SANGGAR NURANI” in Parung, Bogor that provides free education to poverty-stricken children in the vicinity.

Azah Abdullah is a lawyer by profession specializing in corporate litigation. She graduated from Brook House Collage Leicestershire, UK and was called to the Bar in 2002. She is married to Zaki Marican and has 2 children. She has an enthusiastic personality and energetic persona. Azah is currently the Head of Events and Creative Section – PTA Global Jaya International School. Her portfolio covers creative directing for special projects, organizing online and offline events and designing innovative content for social media. Azah was also the President of PTA for Jakarta International Multicultural School. She has been an active member of MCJ as well as Perwakilan Jakarta. She was instrumental in organizing the Malaysian Embassy booth at WIC bazaar as well as assisting in the MCJ Annual Dinner & Dance.

Mani Wannan Letchumanan

Mani is a telecommunication Engineer by profession and also founder of PT AIRES TECHNOLOGY NUSANTARA, a company that produces various technology solutions for Mission Critical applications. He has 10 years experience developing and delivering tactical technology for Indonesia. Mani is also the founder and President of Yayasan Komunitas Resilience Indonesia (YKRI). YKRI was established in April, 2020. The vision of YKRI is to build a community that is resilient in facing nature or manmade disasters through developing and implementing community based programs. He has served the executive committee of MCJ for 5 years now since 2017 and organized many MCJ Networking events, business seminars as well as festivities celebration.

Zaha Izrin Zahari

Zaha Izrin Zahari served as the Executive Secretary of the Malay Chamber of Commerce Malaysia for 2 years building and managing business relations in Malaysia and abroad, with a particular focus on ASEAN and in the same capacity at the Kuala Lumpur Malay Chamber of Commerce for 3 years prior to that. Having cut his teeth in the fast-paced advertising world at a multinational full-service advertising agency for 10 years, Zaha brings energy to connectivity and a broad worldview of international business. Previously at Torch Group, he serves as the Regional Director of Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand, enabling him to apply his extensive experience towards his passion for building networks and connections in the ASEAN business community. Zaha focuses on developing new business and linkages through his company Destra Sinistra, a marketing agency based in Bandung that provides consultancy and market access to Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore and Indonesia.

Soo Woon Loong is currently the COO at SYAILENDRA ASIA, JAKARTA. Soo as he is affectionately called has 18 years of experience in the financial industry, including 9 years in capital markets, 6 years in insurance and 5 years in foreign private banking. He is a Certified Accountant from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK. Soo began his career with SJ Securities in Malaysia before joining Asuransi Winterthur Life Indonesia as CFO. In 2006, he joined Credit Suisse as a Senior Financial Controller. He is married to Vidita Sutomo, a Muslim revert and has 2 children, Gabrielle and Dennis. Soo served as Treasurer in MCJ’s executive committee from 2001 till 2003.

Aerleen Justim

Aerleen is a Sabahan born in September 1980. She is a Business Administration graduate from University Putra Malaysia, Serdang. Aerleen moved to Jakarta in 2017 as a trailing spouse to Hafiz Ibrahim, Managing Partner/Film Director of PASSION PICTURES INDONESIA and has 1 son. Aerleen has been very active throughout her stay in Jakarta. Beside being a certified Yoga instructor, she has served as a pro-tem President for the Malaysia Indonesia Friendship Association (MIFA) in 2020 and Secretary in 2021. She has volunteered in organizing festivities for MCJ namely Chinese New Year and Deepavali in 2018-2019. She is founder to the Malaysian Ladies in Jakarta group and is a PTA volunteer at Jakarta Multicultural International School.
