To improve the investment climate, Indonesia-Malaysia continues to conduct bilateral relations. In this case the Minister of Village, Development of Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration Eko Putro Sandjojo agreed with the Minister of International Trade and Industry (MITI) H.E. Darell Leiking from the Malaysian Embassy of Trade Division to create a Malaysian Investment Indonesia desk whose goal is to address the investment problems faced by the two countries.
